Adusumilli Sarath Babu is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of industry experience in Accounting, Budgeting, Finance and Taxation. He completed his Graduation in 1970 from Vivekanada College, Chennai, with Mathematics as main subject and Physics, Chemistry as ancillaries, by securing ``D`` (Distinction) Grade. Instead of pursuing Post Graduation and further higher studies in the Science subjects, he preferred to switch over to a totally different field viz., CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY. He completed the course of Chartered Accountancy between 1970 to 1973 and cleared both INTERMEDIATE and FINAL Examinations of Chartered Accountancy in First attempts securing All India 40th Rank, in Chartered Accountancy Final Examinations. He started his career as an Accounts Officer, in M/s. State Industries Promotion Corporation Of Tamilnadu Limited, a Government of Tamilnadu undertaking, and soon got selected by union Public Service Commission (UPSC), at the age of 25 years, as Class I officer, under Central Company Law Services ( CCLS) as Asst. Inspecting Officer/Asst. Register of Companies. In a career span of 40 years, he served various reputed organisations, such as, M/s. Ashok Leyland Ltd., M/s. Amrutanjan Limited, M/s. Tamilnadu Telecommunications Limited, M/s. Biological E. Limited and M/s. Nizam Deccan Sugars Limited, in different capacities, heading the Finance/Accounts Departments. Post retirement, he is contributing his immense experience as a Non Executive Director, for the growth of M/s. B5 Corporation Private Limited.
